Our apartment is located on the 5th floor of the residence Baelskaai 20 and has a beautiful 180° view on the harbour, the city and at the back, on the landscaped park. (to be further extended and landscaped). The peace and quiet on the Oosteroever contrasts with the bustle of the city centre.
From the terrace (6m²) you have a view of the quay where the fishing boats leave and moor.

With a lot of love and eye for detail, our flat (± 105m²) is completely furnished in 2017. The house can accommodate 4 – 6 people. The house has 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (non-slip tiles). The boxspring beds (160×200) have a high quality pocket spring mattress. In the living room there is a full pull-out bed (140×200), again with a quality pocket spring mattress. The new kitchen with southern tiles and large island, has all the necessary facilities and is equipped with all modern conveniences. The living room and kitchen are bright, which emphasizes the open feeling even more! Have a drink on the terrace while looking out on the water….Carefree parking through the closed underground car park. Your bicycles can also be stored safely in the storage.

The flat is located in the new district of Ostend, which is under construction. On the renovated quay, 500m. from the beach, where you can walk very quietly. Fort Napoleon, also at 500m. is worth a visit, as is the trampoline park ‘Hangtime’. Tasty fish fetch in the fish mine. On the quay there are also 2 culinary restaurants. By tram you can reach the centre very quickly or you can easily visit other seaside cities. You can also take the FREE ferry directly to the fishing quay/centre of Ostend. Also for the nature lover or who likes sports, there is plenty to find nearby! Active holidaymakers will find what they are looking for in the TWINSCLUB, surfing and water sports club in Bredene . Sailing and surfing is also possible at the spuikom.
Ostend trainstation is approximately 2 km away, Oostende Airport: 8 km. Bruges (20 min), Ghent (40 min), the Zwin (40 min), Ypres (50 min),…

Ann, proud owner of the flat!
As a child always going to sea in Ostend has laid the foundation for the love for this city.
In 2016 we got the opportunity to be part of the project, to transform this old industrial side of Ostend, at the harbour, into a trendy new part of the city. The quay was rebuilt, the beautiful apartment buildings finish it off.
When our new residence was finished we enthusiastically decorated everything ourselves. The painting, carefully picking out the furniture and making sure that nothing would be too short for the guests, was an adventure that we started with a lot of pleasure!

Eind 2017 en begin 2018 waren de weergoden ons niet gunstig gezind in Oostende. Stormwind, regen, gevoelsmatig koude temperaturen, waren ons deel, doch dit werd overmatig gecompenseerd door het stijlvol appartement welke wij in huur genomen hadden. De beschrijving bij het aanbod schiet woorden te kort. In het appartement is alles aanwezig om voor 6 personen een onvergetelijk verblijf te garanderen. Er was wel geen overdadige bewoning, maar de stilte, zowel overdag als s' nachts, maakte van ons kort verlof een aangename beleving. Het appartement op de 5de verdieping geeft een prachtig uitzicht langs voor-, zij- en achterkant. Men heeft kabbelend water aan de voorzijde, soms meer bewogen door een aanmerende vissersboot, aan de achterkant heeft men zicht op zee en duinen. Deze omgeving wordt zeker in de nabije toekomst het moderne Oostende. Met de overzetboot ( wandeling 10 ' ) en de kusttram ( wandeling 10' ) komt men makkelijk terecht in het centrum ( vistrap ) van Oostende. Boodschappen kan men doen in de omgeving en met de wagen heeft men in Oostende een keuze tussen de rijkelijke détailhandel en een aanbod aan grootwarenhuizen. De ondergrondse garage laat toe in het droge,alle gerief met de lift naar de 5de verdieping te brengen. De zee en enkele bezienswaardigheden bevinden zich op loopafstand. Men kan ook een deel van de geschiedenis vanaf Napoleon tot de laatste oorlog bekijken, in de restanten van oude forten en bunkers. Het appartement is een aanrader voor iedereen die van luxe, stilte en het leven houdt. Marijke en Jan

Wir haben 1 Woche Ostende gebucht und als Standort diese Wohnung gewählt. Sie ist modern eingerichtet und trotzdem gemütlich. Sie bietet für 2 Personen mehr als genug Platz und durch große Fensterflächen in allen Richtungen interessante Ausblicke auf die Stadt und auf das Hafenbecken. Die Kusttram ist zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen; das Auto haben wir nicht gebraucht.

Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen! Sehr schön Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung: toller Bäder und sehr schön Coach Ecke um den Abend mit Blick auf den Hafen zu verbringen. Gute Lage um auch die anderen Küstenorte zu erkunden
